Today, May 5th, is the World Day for Hand Hygiene, promoted by the World Health Organization and of particular relevance considering the pandemic emergency which is still underway. A proper hand washing is of the utmost importance in order to avoid getting infected from new SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, reduce its transmission and limit the risk of co-infection with other microorganisms.

Unfortunately, you don’t always have soap and water available to wash your hands. During the health emergency, Cosmosol has therefore decided to add sanitizers to its product portfolio. After getting the authorization as a manufacturer of medical devices (PCM) from the Ministry of Health, the company developed and registered a hand sanitizer gel formula.
